GUFO Wins Gold

Family and Friends,
We wanted to share some very exciting news with you GUFO lovers. It is with much pleasure (and a little pride!) that we announce that our
2007 GUFO Pinot Noir is a Gold Medal and First Place Award Winner in the Amateur Winemaker Competition at the 2008 Santa Cruz County Fair!
With 11 Pinot Noir entries among a total of 122 competitors, GUFO 2007 did very well, achieving high marks in all categories. It is especially gratifying to know that our wine has been recognized for the “labor of love” that it is.

How did you come up with the name Gufo? I am curious.I like the name- it reminds me….
Zelda always called F. Scott Fitzgerald- Goofo- I am a huge Scott and Zelda fan.
